Mandela:Long Walk to Freedom...

The magnificent Idris Elba gives a powerful performance according to the current Issue of The Hollywood Reporter, in his portrayal of Mandella, and I couldn't possibly argue with that. Idris is not only beautiful, but truly a compelling actor, and it would be a cardinal sin not to mention Naomie Harris, who not only did a great underplay of her character in the last Bond adventure," Skyfall", what a gorgeous and versatile actress, I hardly recognized her as the same actress in the wonderful film about the African Octagenerian who over comes the ridicule of his fellow villagers when he decides to go after his dream of obtaining an education... And why does it seem that African American actors don't get the opportunity to play these rich and rewarding roles, could it be our messed up Hollywood star system...?
