STRANGE BEDFELLOWS

ANN MIERA A BRITISH PROSTITUTE FOR THELONIUS MONK (TM) ALLEGEDLY, AND OTHER MAINLY BLACK JAZZ MUSICANS, EVIDENCED BY A HUGE POSTER OF THE SO CALLED GREATS OF JAZZ, TAKEN ON THE FRONT STEPS OF A COUPLE OF HARLEM BROWNSTONES. TM STANDING, SMILING BROADLY WITH HIS TONGUE STUCK OUT, WHICH I GUESS WAS AN ADVERTISEMENT OF SORTS, BECAUSE I HAD SEEN THE SAME IMAGE IN OTHER PHOTOS OF JAZZ GREATS. I SAW A COUPLE OF WHITE MUSICIANS, GERRY MULLIGAN I BELIEVE AMONG THE THREE OR FOUR WHITE GUYS WHO STOOD OUT IN THE CROWD. THE CAMPAIGN I ALLEGE WAS SIMILAR TO A JAMES BOND MOVIE, WHERE A BRITISH IMPORT, "HONOR BLACKMEN", DICTATED A COMMAND, RATHER THAN A LEGAL NAME, I SUSPECT.

ANN MIERA, WITH SHOULDER LENGTH HAIR, FETCHINGLY LOOKING IN TM'S DIRECTION, ALSO SMILING. BUT WHAT HAD CAUGHT MY EYE WAS THE IMAGE OF MY ALLEGED BROTHER, ROBERT CORNELIUS MITCHELL THE THIRD, STANDING AS BOLD AS COULD BE, SIMULATING MY DECEASED MUSICIAN FATHER, ROBERT CORNELIUS MITCHELL THE SECOND. UNFORTUNATELY I COULD NOT FIND HIS NAME LISTED, AND I DON'T RECALL IF ANY NAMES WERE LISTED.
THIS, I HAD OBSERVED IN A JAMBALYA RESTAURANT, IN INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA, I HAD ENTERED, ACROSS FROM A, "99 CENT TACO EVERY TUESDAY" RESTAURANT. THAT WAS LOCATED ACROSS THE STREET FROM WHERE I HAD PURCHASED MY THOUSAND DOLLAR BIKE WHICH HAD BEEN STOLEN OUT OF "PLUMBER'S PARK" IN WEST HOLLYWOOD. THE BLOW-UP POSTER, HUNG ON THE WALL TO MY LEFT, AS I HAD EXITED THE LADIES ROOM. MANY THOUGHTS OF POSSIBILITIES INFILTRATED MY MIND; CREATING VISUALS YET TO BE EXPLAINED.

TM, THE GUY WITH THE BUBBLE CHEEKS HAD LIVED IN BEL-AIRE WITH HIS WIFE, THE ACTRESS WHO HAD APPEARED IN THE MOOVIE,"CARMEN JONES". THE CUTE FRECKLED FACE COUNTRY GIRL THAT HARRY BELAFONTE'S CHARACTER LEAVES BEHIND FOR THE SULTRY AND SEXY, "CARMEN JONES"PORTRAYED BY DOROTHY DANDRIDGE. THE FILM HAD ALLEGEDLY, BEEN DIRECTED BY OTTO PREMINGER. THE MAN WHO HAD CHASTISED ME WHEN I HAD REMINDED HIM THAT MY AUNT NEZ'S MEZZO SOPRANO VOICE HAD BEEN USED IN THE MOVIE. HE HAD SNARLED, "SHE CAN'T SING!" THIS OF COURSE WAS PART OF THE WAR WITHIN WARS, WHICH AT THE TIME I KNEW ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT...THAT SPECIFIC WAR WAS EURO AGAINST AMERICAN, WHITE AGAINST BLACK, MALE AGAINST FEMALE...i.e. SLAVE AGAINST MASTER.

IT WAS OTTO WHO HAD UNEXPECTEDLY APPEARED AT THE DOOR OF MY STUDIO APARTMENT PAID FOR BY MY EUROPEAN BENEFACTOR, WEARING A TUXEDO FOR THE PREMIERE OF ONE OF HIS MOVIES, THE TITLE I DON'T RECALL AT THE MOMENT. HE HAD STOPPED BY, UNANNOUNCED, AND BEHAVED UNGENTMANLY. DURING THE VISIT HE HAD SLAPPED ME, SCREAMING, "SHE'S GOT A BIG ONE" WHICH SIGNALED TO WHOEVER WAS LISTENING, THAT I WAS RIPE FOR THE PICKINGS.

THIS IS HOW THEY TREATED PEOPLE WHO HAD THE NERVE NOT TO RUN WITH THE HERD, NOT TO LISTEN TO THE CHANTS OF,"BE ONE OF US"...AND HAD PAID THE PRICE. I'M GLAD I DID, BECAUSE IT MADE ME STRONG ENOUGH TO FIGHT THE WRONGS AGAINST ME, SUCH AS, "THE MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE" THINKING THAT THEY WERE GOING TO CONTINUE TO TAKE SCREEN CREDIT FOR COPYRIGHTED INTELLECTUAL PROPERTIES THAT I HAD WRITTEN, DIRECT THE WORK, AND CONVENIENTLY FORGET TO PAY ME FOR MY TIME AND LABOR, FOR OVER 60 YEARS WORTH OF SABOTAGE.

AND THE TOOL OF ENTRAPMENT WOULD BE APPLIED, AT THE MOST PROPICIOUS TIME, FOR THEM.

THE NEXT DAY, THE BLACK DOORMAN AT 330 THIRD AVENUE, 19K, NY, NY 10010, WHO WOUND UP WORKING FOR THE BEVERLY HILLS HEALTH CLUB FOR WOMEN OUT IN CALIFORNIA, WHERE I WAS A MEMBER WHERE HE PARKED MEMBER'S ALLEGED CARS (REMEMBER THE "MEMBERS ONLY" JACKET?). THE ATTENDANT ACTING AS THE, "SPOOK WHO SAT BY THE DOOR", WHOSE VOICE I HEARD COMING THROUGH THE INTERCOM, "DELIVERY!" IT WAS A TV, SOMETHING I REALLY DIDN'T WANT, THAT OTTO PREMINGER, IF INDEED THAT IT IS EVEN HIS REAL NAME, HAD GIFTED ME.

ACTUALLY IT WAS NOT A GIFT, BUT A MEANS I ALLEGE, OF WATCHING MY EVERY MOVE, NOT BELIEVING THAT SUCH A THING WAS EVEN POSSIBLE AT THE TIME.

ALLOWING MY PUBLISHED WORK, PERHAPS, INCLUDING ANOTHER INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AN EXPOSE, OF ALLEGED RACISM IN THE ENTERTAINMENT INDUSTRY, TITLED, "OUT OF FOCUS"

WHICH MAY BE CREDITED TO INCORRECT INDIVIDUALS, WHICH IF TRUE, WOULD MAKE THEM LIBEL, FOR WORLD WIDE COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT. I HAD INDICATED TO THE EDITOR IN CHIEF AT THE TIME THAT "56 RAVEN" WAS A CHAPTER OF A NOVEL THAT I WAS STILL WORKING.
